Continue ReadingSince graduating from Bath Spa University’s MA in creative writing program in 2013, Georgios Andritsos has kept a low profile, keeping his nose to the grindstone to perfect his craft and bring his literary visions to life. Through daily writing sessions lasting four to six hours, coupled with a steady diet of good books and movies, Georgios honed his skills and created six compelling books.
His big break came when a publishing house in Greece expressed interest in his collection of short stories, This is not America (or … is it?). Since Georgios writes in American English, the manuscript was translated into Greek and published in Greece in December 2021.
This brought Georgios into the spotlight, leading to several written interviews with national newspapers and magazines. In these interviews, he shares his insights on writing and literature, offering valuable advice on the writing process, discussing the current state of literature, and sharing his personal experiences as a writer and a man. His contributions to the writing community have been well-received, serving as a source of inspiration for aspiring writers.
In addition, we are thrilled to announce that Georgios’ book will be published by the esteemed American publisher Koehler Books. The official publishing date in America is set for August 8th, 2023.
This is a significant milestone for Georgios, and we are honored to have played a part in bringing his work to a wider audience.
Thank you for taking the time to read about Georgios and his literary journey.
We hope you will enjoy reading his interviews.
Best regards
