Dimitris P. Naskos

Dimitris P. Naskos is a resourceful individual who was born and lives in Thessaloniki, Greece, where he worked as a DJ for twenty years. Dimitris is an accomplished academic with an educational background that includes master’s degrees in musicology, cultural studies, semiotics, and creative writing. Currently, he works as a music teacher in a private school and teaches Poetry & Songwriting in the Creative Writing graduate program at the esteemed University of Western Macedonia.
Dimitris is a prolific writer and contributes to the Culture Book’s website, which specializes in poetry. He also runs courses on literary theory. His passion for writing extends beyond academia, as he has been writing lyrics and songs for many years. He arranges and performs his compositions himself, showcasing his creative talent. In addition to his work as a writer and academic, he also works as a book editor.
Dimitris is no stranger to the limelight, having appeared several times on Greek television to discuss his books. He authored a fairy tale for teenagers titled Rabbit Man in 2013 and a collection of poems called What the weather has saved in 2016.
In 2021, Greece's Diavlos publishing house released Dimitris' book titled And the Nobel Prize in Literature Goes to... Bob Dylan? This publication is scheduled to make its debut in the United States in February 2024.
Now he is working on a novel, Bernie: The Rings of Fire. (The age of the rabbit men.)
